Frequently asked questions
Does CoreFlux deliver complete smart city systems?
No. We supply and prepare the hardware, and system integrators design, install and commission the complete system. This lets integrators source multi-brand equipment from one local supplier.
Which surveillance brands do you supply for smart city projects?
We supply IP cameras and recorders from Hikvision, Dahua and CP PLUS, along with GPU servers for video analytics and high-capacity surveillance drives from Seagate, Western Digital and Toshiba.
Can you supply hardware for a command and control centre?
Yes. We supply video wall controllers, professional displays, AV switching, operator workstations and the servers and storage behind them. Send us the room layout and number of operator positions and we will suggest options.
Is the hardware suitable for outdoor use in the UAE climate?
Many cameras, switches and edge computers are rated for high temperatures and dust, but ratings vary by model. We check operating ranges against your site conditions before recommending products.
Can we test analytics hardware before ordering in volume?
You can request a proof of concept through our Experience Centre. Tell us which analytics software you plan to run, and we will discuss how servers, GPUs or edge devices can be evaluated before a larger order.
